The Pymatuning Deer Park is a fun outing for the whole family. There are many local and exotic animals to see. The petting zoo has several animals that you can pet and feed. Everyone will enjoy these lovable critters. Stroll the easy paths to view over 300 animals.

The baby black bear cubs are playful and cute. There are Fallow Deer from Eurasia and the Axis Deer are from India. The African Crowned Crane looks strange. There are Debrazzo's Guenon from South America and Lemur from Madagascar. Enjoy the Bengal Tigers, African Lions, leopards, bobcat, and cougars. There are Wallaby from Australia (one is Albino) and Snow Macaque Monkey from Japan. And these are just a few of the animals to see. And you can see them. They are not hiding where you can't see them like in some zoos.

The Petting Area has goats, pot-bellied pigs, pigmy goats, camels, Scottish highlander calves, plus several other animals to interact with. Many of these are babies and you will hear many squeals of "they're so cute"!

KAT'S VIEW

There were several different animals here. Like American Black Bear. They had some black bear cubs too. There was a South American Macaw. It was pretty. There was a strange creature called a Rhea. It looked like a cross between an Emu and an Ostrich, but smaller. They were so ugly they were cool. There was also a black spotted leopard. You could tell they were well fed. They had some Wallabies from Australia. They looked like small kangaroos. One of them was true Albino, it was cute.
